One might wonder how these eyeless creatures are able to navigate the clouds of the Diadem. While some naturalists posit that heightened tactile senses allow them to feel the winds and avoid collisions with floating rocks and other obstacles, others point out that the scratches observed in some of their bodies suggest that some are more successful at this than others.
