Their ability to twist the minds of men has inspired some to refer to these ultrabright cephalopods as “hallucination” aliens, though some of the specificity of their true name is lost in translation. They appear not dissimilar to an octopus in low-gravity pools, but one can only wonder what terrifying form they take in other environments─wonder, and pray that it is not bipedal.
